Behavioral health care

Hennepin Health

A managed care system that addresses clients' medical care, Hennepin Health also provides resources to care for behavioral health and social service needs.

Behavioral health center

At 1800 Chicago Avenue South in Minneapolis, staff can help coordinate physical, behavioral and chemical health care, from health screenings and medication management to withdrawal management and crisis services, to help people achieve short- and long-term wellness. Human services resources are also available, including housing, cash and food support, and employment, disability and veterans resources.

Hennepin County Mental Health Center

The center serves adults, adolescents and children who have serious mental illness and who may also struggle with substance abuse.

This mobile clinic operates at eight different shelters and drop-in centers in Minneapolis, to address health concerns, provide treatment and medications, coordinate health care and more.
