Hunting and fishing licenses Unless exempt, all individuals 16 and older must purchase a license to hunt and fish in Minnesota. Cross-country ski pass Anyone over the age of 16 on ski trails in state parks, trails or forests, or in grant-in-aid trails, must have a Minnesota ski pass.
