Drop-off facilities open with limited operations

Hennepin County’s Drop-Off Facilities in Brooklyn Park and Bloomington are open with limited operations and new safety procedures due to COVID-19. Find more information about drop-off facilities.

Changes to materials accepted: No mattresses. No TVs or electronics that weigh more than 50 lbs.

Select appliances accepted: microwaves, water coolers, sump pumps, garbage disposals, dehumidifiers. $15/each. 

NO other appliances accepted.

Give away, sell or donate

If the shoes are in good condition, give them away, sell them or donate them to Arc’s Value Village, Goodwill, North Face, or Salvation Army.

Athletic shoes that are no longer usable can be recycled at Nike Reuse-a-Shoe drop-offs at Nike and Converse stores.

Rethink and reduce

Prolong the life of your favorite shoes by following proper care and cleaning instructions and by getting parts that commonly wear out replaced or repaired. Common shoe repairs include heel replacement, sole replacement and repairing or replacing the straps.
