If the shoes are in good condition, give them away, sell them or donate them to Arc’s Value Village, Goodwill, North Face, Salvation Army, or Soles4Souls.

Athletic shoes that are no longer usable can be recycled at Nike Reuse-a-Shoe drop-offs at Nike and Converse stores.

Drop-off limit

5 plastic bags of non-reusable textiles and shoes per visit; maximum plastic bag size 33 gallons.

Must be clean and dry. No moldy shoes.

Materials preparation

Shoes must be clean, dry and bagged in plastic bags.

Drop-off facilities do not accept:

Rethink and reduce

Prolong the life of your favorite shoes by following proper care and cleaning instructions and by getting parts that commonly wear out replaced or repaired. Common shoe repairs include heel replacement, sole replacement and repairing or replacing the straps.
