We will repave Winnetka Avenue from Williston Road to Church Lane. We are also looking at making striping changes between Williston Road and Kinsel Road to improve safety and comfort of all people traveling on Winnetka Avenue.
Timeline
We expect to complete design work by the summer of 2025 and implement anticipated improvements during the 2026 construction season. Projects like this usually begin with intersection work, then pavement work, and finish with restriping.
Potential changes
- Balance roadway cross section with one travel lane in each direction.
- Existing two-way left turn lanes and dedicated left turn lanes remain in place.
- Create shoulder space consistent with the Excelsior Boulevard corridor to the east and west
