County Road 92 improvements

Greenfield and Independence

Hennepin County will repair pavement and replace culverts on two segments of County Road 92.

We will be working between Watertown Road (County Road 6) and Highway 12 in Independence, and between Highway 12 and Rebecca Park Trail (County Road 50) in Greenfield.

Construction updates

You can expect full road closures at locations where we replace culverts on County Road 92. However, you will still be able to access residences and businesses. Pay attention to signs and crews on site to help direct you through/around the work area. Follow detours and allow for extra travel time.

Late-July though Late-August

County Road 92 is closed to through traffic in both directions between just south of Highway 12 and Watertown Road (County Road 6) in Independence.

County Road 92 between Highway 55 and Rebecca Park Trail will have pavement work but will remain open to traffic.

Late-August through October

County Road 92 is closed to through traffic in both directions between Highway 55 and just north of Highway 12 in Greenfield.

Project information

When this project is complete, people will notice a smoother and safer road for everyone that uses it. The new culverts will also help prevent flooding and erosion.
