Surplus property

The county sells real property and buildings for public purchase through sealed bids or requests for proposals. Other surplus property (e.g vehicles, equipment and furniture) is sold via online and live auctions. The county sells items "as is, where located" and all sales are final.

Online auctions

Municibid and the State of Minnesota conduct and manage the county's online auctions. Auctions are posted online as needed. Visit Municibid or MinnBid.

Items can include cars, trucks, vans, SUV's, ambulances, snow plows, yard and road maintenance equipment, tools, office equipment, furniture, and other miscellaneous items.
