Maps and data

Maps of varying sizes and scales are available for purchase on white paper. High-gloss photographic paper and other media are available upon request for an additional charge.

Most maps can be downloaded for free. For printed maps, see the Property, section and aerial photo maps section.

COVID-19 response

Our office remains closed for in-person transactions. Resident and employee safety are our primary focus.

FEMA LOMA maps

To create a FEMA LOMA map:

  1. Use the Natural Resources Application
  2. From the Help menu tab in the upper right of the application, select "Flood map amendments"

We are happy to print maps for you. Map sizes vary based on the type of map.

There is a $20 per map prepayment required. Please contact our office for printing assistance by phone at 612-348-3131 or in person on the 7th floor of the Hennepin County Government Center.

Record = parcel graphic & associated attribute

plus a $50 set-up fee
Parcel graphic file and attributes endorsed by the Metropolitan Council through MetroGIS. Requires a signed user agreement.
Entire database extract $4,000 Initial cost
Geocoded street Centerline File $3,000 Initial cost
Quarterly update of entire database extract $300 per each quarter  
Extraction Transfer Media $2 each plus $50 hourly rate CD/DVD
Plotting fees

Plotting is done on regular bond paper. High gloss paper will incur additional costs.

Prepayment is required and purchases may be handled either:

  • Over the phone at 612-348-3131
  • In person on the 5th floor of the Hennepin County Government Center (address on the right)
