Drop-off facilities open with limited operations

Hennepin County’s Drop-Off Facilities in Brooklyn Park and Bloomington are open with limited operations and new safety procedures due to COVID-19. Find more information about drop-off facilities.

Changes to materials accepted: No mattresses. No TVs or electronics that weigh more than 50 lbs.

Select appliances accepted: microwaves, water coolers, sump pumps, garbage disposals, dehumidifiers. $15/each. 

NO other appliances accepted.

Drop-off facilities accept:

Ballasts from lamps and light fixtures. Ballasts may contain PCBs and should not be put in the garbage.


No charge

Materials preparation

Ballasts must be removed from light fixtures before arriving at the drop-off facility. Staff will not separate the ballasts from the light fixtures.
