Drop-off facilities open with limited operations

Hennepin County’s Drop-Off Facilities in Brooklyn Park and Bloomington are open with limited operations and new safety procedures due to COVID-19. Find more information about drop-off facilities.

Changes to materials accepted: No mattresses. No TVs or electronics that weigh more than 50 lbs.

Select appliances accepted: microwaves, water coolers, sump pumps, garbage disposals, dehumidifiers. $15/each. 

NO other appliances accepted.

Give away, sell or donate

If the toy is in good condition, sell it, give it away or donate it to Arc’s Value Village, Goodwill or Salvation Army.

Other disposal options

Put in garbage

Toys that are not in good condition may be put in the garbage. Remove and recycle any batteries before putting in the garbage. If you cannot remove the battery, the entire toy will be accepted for recycling.

Recycle boxes from board games and puzzles, and put the remainder in the garbage.
