Drop-off facilities open with limited operations

Hennepin County’s Drop-Off Facilities in Brooklyn Park and Bloomington are open with limited operations and new safety procedures due to COVID-19. Find more information about drop-off facilities.

Changes to materials accepted: No mattresses. No TVs or electronics that weigh more than 50 lbs.

Select appliances accepted: microwaves, water coolers, sump pumps, garbage disposals, dehumidifiers. $15/each. 

NO other appliances accepted.

If the power tool is broken, repair it at a repair shop or a Fix-It Clinic.

Sell, give away or donate

If the power tool works, give it away, sell it or donate it to Habitat for Humanity ReStore.

Other disposal options

Put in garbage

Power tools may be placed in the garbage. Remove and recycle the batteries and drain and recycle the fluids first.
