Education program for Somalis enrolled in MFIP

The Somali Success School (1545 E Lake Street, Minneapolis) is designed to increase the literacy, math, living skills and wage potential of local Somalis enrolled in MFIP. For more information or to refer, call Bobette Beckford or Abdinur Ali at (612) 338-3153.

Employment 

Refugee Employment Services

Refugee Employment Services helps refugees locate job openings, identify child care, fill out job applications, and use public transportation. Eligible refugees are those who’ve arrived in the U.S. within the last five years.

Tree Trust youth work program

The Tree Trust TANF Supported Work program allows people between 14 and 24 to gain paid work experience while working outdoors on community improvement projects or indoors at local businesses, schools, and nonprofits.

Password resets

The Hennepin County Enterprise service desk handles all password reset requests for Citrix, ECF/SMI, MEC2, and MAXIS. Users can reset their own Workforce One password from the site’s homepage.

Contact Hennepin County IT Enterprise Service Desk by phone at 612-348-6662 and be prepared to provide the following information:

  • Your Hennepin County logon ID (usually the first two letters of your first and last name plus a three-digit number, for example AABB001)
  • Your contact information (name, work phone, work email)
  • That you use Hennepin County systems as an external service provider
  • The name of the ESP Agency where you work
  • Name of system for which you need the password reset (Citrix, ECF/SMI, MEC2, and/or MAXIS)
