Liquor license

We may issue liquor licenses within unorganized areas of the county such as Fort Snelling. Liquor license types are:

  • The sale of 3.2% malt liquor
  • On-sale intoxicating liquor
  • Off-sale intoxicating liquor

Application process

Complete the liquor application (PDF).

Gather documents.

Submit your application and fee by mail to:

If you cannot mail in the application, email vitalrecords@hennepin.us.

Processing time

Allow at least 60 days for processing and issuing of license.

Fee

  • $125 annually
  • May be paid $31.25 per quarter

  • Minnesota Statute 340A.403 – 3.2% malt liquor
  • Minnesota Statute 304A.404 – On-sale intoxicating liquor
  • Minnesota Statute 304A.405 – Off-sale intoxicating liquor
