Estate sale conductor

To conduct estate sales, an “Estate Sale Conductor” must file a surety bond with the county of their residence or in the county where the estate sale is being held.

How to file

Remote application process

  1. Complete the Estate Sale Conductor filing form (PDF)
  2. Get a corporate surety bond in the amount of at least $20,000
  3. Submit your application and surety bond:

    Director of Licensing — Estate sale conductor
    Hennepin County Government Center
    300 South 6th Street Suite A-025
    Minneapolis, MN 55487-0026

At this time, there is no fee for filing of a bond.
