Drop-off facilities open with limited operations

Hennepin County’s Drop-Off Facilities in Brooklyn Park and Bloomington are open with limited operations and new safety procedures due to COVID-19. Find more information about drop-off facilities.

Changes to materials accepted: No mattresses. No TVs or electronics that weigh more than 50 lbs.

Select appliances accepted: microwaves, water coolers, sump pumps, garbage disposals, dehumidifiers. $15/each. 

NO other appliances accepted.

Sinks: metal, cast iron

Recommended disposal options

Give it away, sell or donate

Sinks in good condition may be given away, sold or donated to the Habitat for Humanity ReStore.

Other disposal options

Recycle

Metal sinks may be accepted and redeemable at a scrap metal recycler.
