Hennepin County’s Drop-Off Facilities in Brooklyn Park and Bloomington are open with limited operations and new safety procedures due to COVID-19. Find more information about drop-off facilities.

Changes to materials accepted: No mattresses. No TVs or electronics that weigh more than 50 lbs.

Select appliances accepted: microwaves, water coolers, sump pumps, garbage disposals, dehumidifiers. $15/each. 

NO other appliances accepted.

Rags soaked in gas, oil-based paint, oil, solvent and other flammable liquids

Hazardous materials precautions

Be cautious when handling rags soaked in gasoline, oil or other flammable liquids. Place in a small, airtight, non-combustible (such as metal) container with a tight-fitting lid and seal tightly. Do not put in the garbage.
