Drop-off facilities open with limited operations

Hennepin County’s Drop-Off Facilities in Brooklyn Park and Bloomington are open with limited operations and new safety procedures due to COVID-19. Find more information about drop-off facilities.

Changes to materials accepted: No mattresses. No TVs or electronics that weigh more than 50 lbs.

Select appliances accepted: microwaves, water coolers, sump pumps, garbage disposals, dehumidifiers. $15/each. 

NO other appliances accepted.

Reuse, give away or sell

If the pipes are in good shape, consider using them for another household project, give them away or sell them.

Recycle metal pipes

Metal pipes may be accepted and redeemable at a scrap metal recycler.

Put plastic pipes in garbage

Plastic pipes may be put in the garbage. Check with your waste hauler or see landfills and transfer stations for drop-off options.
