Drop-off facilities open with limited operations

Hennepin County’s Drop-Off Facilities in Brooklyn Park and Bloomington are open with limited operations and new safety procedures due to COVID-19. Find more information about drop-off facilities.

Changes to materials accepted: No mattresses. No TVs or electronics that weigh more than 50 lbs.

Select appliances accepted: microwaves, water coolers, sump pumps, garbage disposals, dehumidifiers. $15/each. 

NO other appliances accepted.

The metal track and box system may be accepted and redeemable at a scrap metal recycler

Remove and recycle the batteries from the remote control.

Materials preparation

Remove all non-metal pieces from the metal track and box system first. The non-metal pieces may be put in the garbage. Remove and recycling the battery from the remote control. The remote control can then be put in the garbage.
