Drop-off facilities open with limited operations

Hennepin County’s Drop-Off Facilities in Brooklyn Park and Bloomington are open with limited operations and new safety procedures due to COVID-19. Find more information about drop-off facilities.

Changes to materials accepted: No mattresses. No TVs or electronics that weigh more than 50 lbs.

Select appliances accepted: microwaves, water coolers, sump pumps, garbage disposals, dehumidifiers. $15/each. 

NO other appliances accepted.

Whole automobiles: sell, donate or recycle

Whole automobiles may be sold, donated.

Metal automobile parts: recycle

Metal automobile parts may be accepted by a scrap metal recycler for redemption.

Non-metal automobile parts: Contact waste hauler or bring to landfill

For non-metal automobile parts, such as seats, interiors and moldings, check with your waste hauler or see landfills and transfer stations for drop-off options

Remove all non-metal parts and drain fluids before recycling. Non-metal parts may be put in the garbage. See automotive fluids for disposal options and guidelines.
