The goal of the Building Circularity Enterprises MN program is to help participants start or expand a building material reuse business in Minnesota.
Entrepreneurs will receive mentoring and support to develop their reclaimed building material business models and sales approach.
Program details
The program will run from November 2025 through April 2026. The program will include in-person and virtual learning sessions.
Program participants will learn how to navigate the complex world of reclaimed materials in commercial design and construction.
Get more than 40 hours of training in:
- Face-to-face meetings with architects and contractors.
- Building walkthroughs.
- Handling and working with real building products.
Cost
- The cost to participate is $950.
- Financial help is available based on circumstance.

Eligibility
- Must be passionate about reducing needless waste of great building materials and redirecting material flows into new projects an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Must be at least 25 years of age.
- Participants do not need to be a resident of Hennepin County or Minnesota but must be willing to travel to Hennepin County for all in-person training sessions.
- Hennepin County encourages participation by persons of diverse backgrounds and experiences.
