Webber 44 reconstruction

We will update a segment of 44th Avenue, Webber Parkway and Lyndale Avenue in North Minneapolis.

We will update the road itself, add new sidewalks, improve boulevards, and improve pedestrian crossings. The project will also prepare the area for Metro Transit D Line service along 44th Avenue.

Updates

Access to all local businesses will remain open during the project.

Work began April 12 when crews closed 44th Avenue and Humboldt Avenue.

We removed pavement and infrastructure to clear the area for storm sewer and other replacements.

Initial work will continue through mid-summer 2021.
