Public involvement

Project outreach and engagement efforts for the design phase primarily consist of a project advisory committee (PAC) of adjacent business and neighborhood representatives, as well as periodic newsletters and a project website. Project members will work to identify opportunities to engage stakeholders at key milestones to discuss design, easements, assessments and the creation of a special service district.

Much of the work completed as part of the I-35W Transit/Access project and previous Lake Street reconstruction projects has established the context of the project, including limits, setting and scope of work.
