Put in garbage
Breast pumps may be put in the garbage. Remove and recycle the batteries first.
Because breast pumps come into contact with bodily fluids, the FDA recommends that only specially designed pumps are reused. Devices that are designed to be reused have accessory kits with new breast shields and tubing for each user or have components that can be sterilized.
