Local funding opportunities to support businesses impacted by COVID-19

Applications now closed

The application period for the latest round of funding through the Small Business Relief Fund closed on Wednesday, August 12 at noon.

Applicants will be notified by email about the status of their application on or before August 21.

Applications selected to move forward will be asked to submit some supporting documentation. Please see the guidelines document linked below for details.

Previous application rounds

Hennepin County has completed three application rounds of emergency small business relief grants:

  • Round 1: Grants up to $10,000 for businesses with 1-20 employees
  • Round 2: Grants up to $5,000 for self-employed entrepreneurs
  • Round 3: Grants up to $15,000 for businesses with 1-50 employees

Future funding rounds are expected, as well.
