Including West Lake Street and Lagoon Avenue intersections
Beginning in summer 2017, the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board, in collaboration with Hennepin County and City of Minneapolis, will make improvements to the Lake Calhoun/Bde Maka Ska-Harriet trail and the areas adjacent.
As part of the project, there are also plans to improve the intersections of West Lake Street (County Road 3), Lagoon Avenue (County Road 43) and East Calhoun Parkway. The intersection is in the final stages of design and construction is expected to begin in the fall.
During the overall trail and access construction, the Lake Street underpass will remain open to bicycles and pedestrians.
