Increased Crime Lab Staff to Process DNA Evidence

Description

The Hennepin County Sheriff DNA Property Crimes Initiative will allow for the hiring of seven new employees in the crime lab to reduce the backlog for DNA processing by 50 percent, thus improving public safety by getting offenders off the street where they are committing additional crimes.
