Health experts are warning that the H1N1 flu outbreak may worsen again yet this winter. All of us can protect ourselves from getting sick - and reduce the chances of H1N1 illness returning to our community - by getting vaccinated now.
To find H1N1 flu shots for yourself and your family…
-- You can phone your regular doctor’s office and ask if H1N1 shots are available there.
-- Or, on the internet, you can go to www.mdhflu.com and find other H1N1 flu shot providers near where you live. Many of these providers charge a fee or require health insurance.
Hennepin County Public Health and Minnesota Visiting Nurses Agency (MVNA) also will be providing H1N1 flu shots at the following times and locations.
There will be no charge for these H1N1 flu shots and insurance will not be required. Those with health insurance should bring their policy cards so administrative costs may be billed to insurance.
