OVERVIEW 

The Adult Corrections Facility maintains a searchable database of public information on individuals currently in custody or released from the facility within the past sevens days. This information is provided as a public service and should not be relied upon for any type of legal action.

In addition to the capability of searching for residents at the ACF, there is an option to also search for individuals housed at the Hennepin County Jail in downtown Minneapolis.

SEARCH PAGE 

The Search Page is the main page for the ACF Roster. It allows users to enter search criteria and perform searches for individuals housed in the ACF and the Hennepin County Jail.

FIELDS
 DESCRIPTIONS
Last Name The last name of the person incarcerated. Users may enter the entire last name or a partial last name.
First Name The first name of the person incarcerated. Users may enter the entire first name, a partial first name, or leave the line blank.
Search ACF Roster or both ACF and Jail rosters Radio buttons allow users the option of searching only the ACF Roster or both the ACF and Hennepin County Jail rosters simultaneously.

SEARCH RESULTS 

The Search Results page displays results of the search performed on the Search page. Users may obtain additional details about an individual by clicking on the Booking Number in the far left column.

  • Selecting the ACF Booking Number displays the Custody Details page of the ACF Roster.
  • Selecting the Jail Booking Number displays the Charge Details page of the Sheriff's Jail Roster.
  • Selecting a Location displays the location's information page on the Hennepin County web site.

 

FIELDS
 DESCRIPTIONS
Booking Number An identifier used for filling and tracking records associated with a 'booking.' A booking is assigned to a specific period of incarceration.
Name The first name of the person incarcerated.
Date of Birth The date of birth of the person incarcerated.
Status

Status indicates if a person is currently:

  • In Custody;
  • On Temporary Release;
  • On Electronic Home Monitoring;
  • On Work/Study Release; or
  • Has been Released from Custody.

Residents may be temporarily released from the facility for a variety of reasons, such as court-ordered furloughs or for court appearances. Only the past seven days of information is available for residents who show a status of Released from Custody.
Booking Date The date on which in the person was booked (admitted) in the facility.
Release Date The date on which the person was released from custody, either because his or her sentence was completed or he or she was released temporarily. This field is blank for those still in custody.
Location

The location in which the person is currently residing.

CUSTODY DETAILS 

The Custody Details page displays additional details about the person selected on the Search Results page and who was booked into the Adult Corrections Facility. Clicking on the location link displays the appropriate page from the Hennepin County web site.

FIELDS
 DESCRIPTIONS
Name The first name of the person incarcerated.
Date of Birth The date of birth of the person incarcerated.
Booking Date The date on which the person was booked into (admitted) in the facility.
Booking Number An identifier used for filling and tracking records associated with a 'booking.' A booking is assigned to a specific period of incarceration.
Admission Type Indicates if a person already has been sentenced by the court, or is incarcerated prior to sentencing (pretrial).
Charges The level (felony, gross misdemeanor, misdemeanor, petty misdemeanor) and description of the offense.
Location

The location indicates the building or location in which a person is incarcerated:

  • ACF Men's Section
  • ACF Women's Section
  • ACF Work/Study Release
  • Sheriff's Jail - Public Safety Facility
  • Sheriff's Jail - City Hall
Status

Status indicates if a person is currently:

  • In Custody;
  • On Temporary Release;
  • On Electronic Home Monitoring;
  • On Work/Study Release; or
  • Has been Released from Custody.

Projected Release The date on which the person is scheduled to be released from custody. This date may change, depending on the person's conduct while incarcerated.
Bail/Hold(s) Indicates the existence of a hold or warrant for the individual.

Full Name The name of the person incarcerated.
Booking Number An identifier used for filling and tracking records associated with a 'booking.' A booking is assigned to a specific period of incarceration.
Date of Birth The date of birth of the person incarcerated.
Sheriff's Custody Only the past seven days of information is available for residents who have been released from custody.
If a person is not in custody, the date of his or her release is provided.
Housing Location Indicates the building or location in which the person is incarcerated - Sheriff's Jail Public Safety Facility or Sheriff's Jail City Hall.
Received Date/Time The date on which the person was booked into (admitted) in the facility.
Arrested By The agency that arrested the individual.
Case/Count Identifies the case and count for the charges listed.
Charge(s) The level (felony, gross misdemeanor, misdemeanor, or petty misdemeanor) and a description of the offense.
Charged By The charging agency
Reason for Arrest The type of charge against the person
Severity of Charge The level of offense (i.e. felony, gross misdemeanor, misdemeanor, or petty misdemeanor).
Bail Information  The amount of bail assigned to the person in order for he or she to be released from jail.
Court Appearance Date/Time The date and time at which the person is scheduled to appear in court.
Court Appearance Location The location in which the person is scheduled to appear in court.
