The Sherriff's foreclosures database gives information on sales of real estate conducted by the Sheriff to foreclose mortgages and liens. It is updated once every business day at 6:00 p.m. The entries are not necessarily up to date. Minnesota law provides a redemption period for foreclosed properties.
The Hennepin County Sheriff's Office does not guarantee the accuracy of the foreclosure information in the database. Much of it is gathered and presented by law firms who prepare foreclosures. The status of sale information can also change. People who use the information are responsible for verifying its accuracy.
Employees of the sheriff's office cannot give legal advice. Consult an attorney on all real estate transactions.
