HealthWorks has arranged a variety of onsite services for employees.

Classes and massage with a charge are reimbursable through the Trade Time for Fitness program.

Available for employees. Sitting in a massage chair opens back muscles, relieves strain on the neck and provides relaxation for eyes. Just a few minutes of massage to the neck, back, arms and hands can increase circulation, returning energy levels and helping keep the body injury free.

Blue Mountain Healing Arts

Isolates and tones core stabilizing muscles for better posture and core strength. Helps tone and lengthen muscles.

Quiet Minds

Quiet Minds is a 20 minute practice of quiet time, meditation and stillness during the workday.  There is a designated start time at 12:20 and end time at 12:40, but the time is not guided.  It is designed for individuals familiar with meditation or other quiet practice.

  • Tuesdays, 12:15 to 12:45 p.m. in the Government Center, HealthWorks Conference Room (street level, SW corner)


  • There is no cost to attend

Tai Chi

Traditional Chinese exercise, practiced for centuries. Slow, relaxed postures are a form of moving meditation. Promotes deeper breathing, improved balance, and stress management. 

Classes include warm-ups, standing mediation and form instruction on Cheng-man Ch'ing Yang-Style form. Wear loose-fitting clothing and comfortable shoes.

Each session requires a minimum of five students.

Six-week introductory classes start April 18. Returning students are permitted to attend any of the offered class times. Contact instructor for details.

Attending a single class

Because a sequence of movements is part of the curriculum, and due to the short class time, persons attending a single class are encouraged to attend the first or second week class is offered. You may be allowed to attend as a single-class student for later sessions, contingent on approval of the instructor.

Twin Cities Metro Yoga

Twin Cities Metro Yoga’s classes are low impact and more restorative, designed especially for the workday. You’ll learn how different breathing techniques can change your mood and how to include yoga in your daily life. Guided relaxation and imagery are included. The 45-minute class format is designed to accommodate all skill levels. Please bring your own mat. Blocks and straps provided.

A fun cardio workout with easy dance steps done to a Latin and international beat. Toning can be added to help you be totally fit. Please bring mat or towel.
