The Hennepin Conservation District has organized four conservation forums in 2009 and 2010 that brought together representatives from the state, county, watershed districts and municipalities to discuss issues related to land and water resources. 

Forums have specifically focused on the impacts of the Clean Water, Land and Legacy Amendment on conservation activities in the county.
