Don’t know where to start with reuse? Hennepin County partners annually with 80 local retailers to offer Choose to Reuse coupon books valid from October 1 through November 30. In 2012, over 31,000 coupons were redeemed at local businesses and organizations that rent, repair, resell, consign and exchange used goods. See the list of 2012 retail partners.

Pick up a Choose to Reuse coupon book at participating retail locations, Hennepin County Service Centers, Hennepin County libraries and all Three Rivers Park District locations.

Choose to Reuse Directory

The Choose to Reuse Directory is an online searchable directory of reuse businesses and non-profits in and around Hennepin County. Reuse retailers can request a listing for free. 

If you are a reuse retailer and would like to be listed in our directory, please fill out a sign-up form and click "Submit" or return it via mail or fax using the contact information in the right sidebar.

Reusable Bag Window Clings

"Don't Forget the Bags" window clings can be placed on your car or home window to remind you to bring your bags with you when you go shopping.

Order window clings for free by filling out the online order form. Limit two per household please. Available in English, Spanish, and Hmong.

Donation Opportunities

Don’t forget to make room for your new finds by donating your unwanted items. Most donations are tax deductible, and many local donation centers help support those in need. Find donation opportunities on the Choose to Reuse Directory.
